Project Pods
Our organizational structure is completely equizontal (equitable/horizontal) – based on collaboration, and the leveraging of unique skills, talents and passions. The structure is based on the use of interlinking pods, that provide a differentiated, yet necessary function to the organization, with each pod constituting a maximum of 12 individuals (nodes). The individuals either liaise between project teams (gray), or specialize on a technical area of expertise (blue).
This organizational structure balances rapid scalability with structural integrity. The interlocking hexagonal form mirrors the natural geometry observed in snowflakes and beehives. It also represents the geometrical structure of all known interactions in physics within a unified field theory - aka 'theory of everything' (see: 'An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything' by A. Garrett Lisi).
EvoNet:
EvolutionNetworks - is EvolvingHeroes home interface. By using geospatial social networking and collaboration tools, EvoNet seeks to shift our current Social System from one of self-centered independence, to one of compassionate interdependence: It gives you (our users) a more intuitive means of interacting with your own social networks, a community of support that shares your passion for collective action, and the ability to share your unique skills and talents (or trade resources) towards Global, full-spectrum, system shift.

HeroesCore:
This is EvolvingHeroes power-base - our people! This network of chapter-based student groups (i.e. Heroes@Stanford) focuses on providing students with skills training in Transformative Leadership - "personal to planetary transformation" (Monica Sharma, Kosmos Journal May/08). They act as an inlet for our partner organizations to get their programming to students. Each chapter organizes workshops, speaker events, networking sessions and co-operative work sessions that incubate the personal skills, content of character, and frame of mind that is required to effectively engage in global transformation through the EvoNet platform.

HeroesVisible:
'TED for student social innovators': Seeks to shift our current 'Media System' from one of centralized misinformation, to one of decentralized inspiration! It generates compelling content that solicits a particular target action... such as a Twitter 'follow', a Facebook 'like' or a competition vote. Then, by leveraging targeted/appropriate distribution channels, the Visible group uses online platforms to create targeted, viral distribution of inspirational social media.

Anjna Patient Education:
Studies have shown that common diseases such as type II diabetes, hypertension, and depression are heavily prevalent amongst patients who are from the lowest socioeconomic tier, resulting in rising healthcare expenses which further exacerbate their circumstances. Anjna Patient Education seeks to break this cycle by educating and empowering patients in free clinics to take a stand against these preventable diseases with good nutrition, diet, and positive lifestyle changes. In a recent meta-analysis study, patient education was found to be more effective than traditional modes of treatment, and improve patient outcomes by 50-80% when compared to medication or conventional therapy.

Beads for Change! (The Pagkabata Project):
Since the winter of 2009, the The Pagkabata Project (TPP) has been an advocate for the rights of children. By empowering countless youth who are forced into servitude, they seek to shift the employment system in certain parts of the developing world from one of enforced labour, to one that is autonomous and self-fulfilling - engaging and promoting the creativity of the area's indigenous youth! They teach the kids how to create their own jewelry out of recycled paper, buy their necklaces, then sell the pieces to 'the highest bidder' within and outside the Philippines (in countries such as the US). The value is returned directly to the kids, and a virtuous cycle is created that further uplifts the partner community!

The Social Startup Summit:
By empowering youth to Start Social Enterprises, The Social Startup Summit is shifting the education system from one that stifles creativity and narrows thought, to one that encourages the outright exploration, and expression of ones full creative potential. It is a one-day, high-impact social entrepreneurship boot-camp for students: The students come and pitch ideas for community service project, get in groups, and work the whole day to develop a website and online media presence. Then, at the end of the day, the students give final pitches to the event's judges. The team with the best pitch wins pro-bono consulting, free web and graphic design, a micro-loan to jumpstart the project, etc.
