Mission

At this moment in Earth’s history, there have never been so many groups, organisations and communities, working towards the same goal – the vision of a bright and shining New Earth. However, there tends to be little communication or collaboration between these different groups – the majority of which comprise extensive networks of purposeful and dedicated individuals. Yet, we are all one family, one tribe (of Gaia). For this reason we are naturally predisposed to supporting each other (despite how unusual this may now seem)...

It is said that, “United we stand, divided we fall”. When we can harness the power of synergy, together, we can birth the critical new structures of a new paradigm. Together, we need not expend so much individual effort… but together, we may once more enjoy the warmth and well-being of family and community – a “One World Family” (H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar).

The Gaia Project is a global, communications platform created to facilitate collaboration between these various brother/sister organisations. Using GIS technology and Social Network Analysis, ‘The Platform’ is designed to improve person-to-person coordination within these humanitarian organisations (a.k.a. ‘Social Movements’), as well as collaboration between them.

Based on principles of the ‘Gift Economy’, The Platform will eventually serve as infrastructure for the distribution and exchange of goods and services – serving as a support-tool for collaborative endeavor (or ‘co-creation’).
